| Inauguration of the Judge of the Constitutional Court of Georgia
On 15 June 2010 the member of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Mr. Zaza Tavadze took an oath at the official ceremony at the Constitutional Court of Georgia in attendance of the President of Georgia, the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia and the President of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
According to the law, the Constitutional Court consists of nine judges. Three members of the Constitutional Court are appointed by the President of Georgia, three members are elected by the Parliament of Georgia and three members are appointed by the Supreme Court of Georgia. Mr. Zaza Tavadze was appointed the judge of the Constitutional Court of Georgia by the Decision of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
Zaza Tavadze, born in 1975, graduated from Open Humanitarian University of Georgia, Faculty of Law; Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law, for German language Master's degree; Tbilisi State University of Economic Relations, Master's degree, Faculty of Business and Management.
Mr. Tavadze worked at the Public Servants' Financial and Property Status Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation, the Office of Prosecutor General of Georgia and Ministry of Justice. Till 30 March 2008 he was a Deputy Minister of Justice.
He is married and has one child.
