Giorgi Modebadze
Member of the Constitutional Court of GeorgiaBorn on December 11, 1987, in Zestaponi.
In 2009, he graduated from Georgian Technical University with a Bachelor's degree in Law (2005-2009).
In 2007, he passed the Election Administration Officer’s Examination of the Central Election Commission of Georgia.
In 2010, he worked as a specialist at the Chancellery of Tbilisi City Court.
In 2010, he passed the Judicial Assistant’s Examination of the High School of Justice of Georgia.
In 2010 - 2011, he served as a Session Secretary at Tbilisi City Court.
In 2011 - 2016, he was an Assistant to a Judge at Tbilisi City Court.
In 2016 - 2024, he held the position of the Head of the Secretariat at Tbilisi City Court.
In 2014 - 2018, he was participant and speaker at several training programmes organized by the High School of Justice of Georgia.
In 2018, he was certified by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in “Updates to the Law of Georgia on Public Service and Mechanisms for Corruption Prevention.”
In 2021, he was certified by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in “Leadership and Management in Public Service.”
In 2024, he served as the Manager at Tbilisi City Court.
In 2024 - 2025, he was the First Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.
On 23 October 2025 he was appointed as the member of the Constitutional Court of Georgia with the Decree No. 243 issued by the President of Georgia. He started to exercise the authority of the Judge on 24 October 2025, from the day of oath-taking.
He speaks English and Russian.
He has a wife and two children.
