Memorandum of Understanding Signed between the Constitutional Court of Georgia and Caucasus International University
Today, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Constitutional Court of Georgia and Caucasus International University (CIU). The document was signed by the President of the Constitutional Court Mr. Revaz Nadaraia and the Rector of the University Professor Kakhaber Kordzaia.
The aim of the memorandum is to promote establishment and further development of cooperation between the Constitutional Court and the University in academic, educational and research fields. In addition, within the framework of the memorandum, it is envisaged to support the development of practical skills for law faculty students and to ensure their maximum involvement in practical activities.
Following the signing ceremony, the President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Mr. Revaz Nadaraia, delivered a public lecture on the importance of constitutional submissions in the process of constitutional adjudication.
Speeches at the event were delivered by the Rector of CIU Professor Kakhaber Kordzaia; the President of the Constitutional Court Mr. Revaz Nadaraia; the Dean of the Faculty of Law Professor Giorgi Khatidze; Emeritus Professor and Academician Mindia Ugrekhelidze and Professor Beka Kantaria.
The event was attended by the Chancellor of Caucasus International University Mr. Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze as well as faculty members and students.
