Visit of Justice Ms. Eva Gotsiridze to the European Court in Strasbourg
On 29–31 January 2026, Justice of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, Ms. Eva Gotsiridze, paid a working visit to Strasbourg, France, where she participated in official events marking the opening of the Judicial Year of the European Court of Human Rights.
The visit took place at the invitation of the European Court of Human Rights, and Ms. Eva Gotsiridze attended the solemn hearing of the ECHR, where the President of the European Court of Justice in Strasbourg, Mr. Matthias Guyomar, and the President of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany, Mr. Stephan Harbarth, delivered speeches. Ms. Eva Gotsiridze participated in a seminar and discussion on the topic: "Media Pluralism and the Protection of the Democratic Process in Challenging Times".
Within the scope of the visit, Ms. Eva Gotsiridze held a meeting with Judge Lado Chanturia of the European Court of Human Rights.
